Job Description:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Special Education Aide to provide in-home or school-based behavioral support. The successful candidate will work under the direct supervision of a certified Behavior Analyst to implement individualized behavior intervention plans. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of children with special needs.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the implementation of behavior intervention plans designed by the Behavior Analyst.
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students in their homes or school settings.
- Collect and record data on student progress and behavior.
- Assist with daily activities, including academic tasks, social skills training, and personal care.
- Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and other support staff.
- Maintain a safe and supportive environment for students.
- Attend training sessions and team meetings as required.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 CSEC subjects including Math & English or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Special Education, Psychology, or related field preferred.
- Previous experience working with children with special needs is highly desirable.
- Ability to follow instructions and implement behavior intervention plans accurately.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children with special needs.
- Ability to pass a background check and obtain necessary clearances.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques.
- Ability to handle physically demanding tasks as needed.
